How to Prepare Your Organic Ghana Cacao
Ingredients:
- 30–50 g Ceremonial Cacao from Ghana
- 50–300 ml water or plant-based milk (e.g., almond, oat, coconut)
- Optional: honey, maple syrup, a pinch of chili, cinnamon, or nutmeg.
- Important: Avoid cow’s milk—its proteins block the absorption of beneficial polyphenols.
Preparation:
- Prepare your portion: You can grind the Cacao in a coffee grinder or grate it finely.
- Heat the base: Warm the water or plant milk to approximately 70–80°C (do not boil!).
- Combine: Add the Cacao to the liquid. Use a blender or milk frother to achieve a velvety, thick consistency.
